Trattoria Pasta & Vino brings real Italian home cooking to the heart of Maspalomas, on Avenida de Tirajana in the Barbados 1 building, a short walk from Playa del Inglés. The cooking follows southern Italian family tradition: honest dishes made with good ingredients, with no tourist clichés.
The menu centres on pasta, much of it homemade and fresh, served with a well-chosen selection of Italian wines. Starters such as beef carpaccio are a guest favourite, and every meal begins with bread and herb butter. Two people can share three different pastas, which is a nice way to try more of the menu. Vegetarians are welcome too.
